Long-press on a Strong's number to see the definition. o Word-level text selection. o Dictionary lookup on selection toolbar. o Added 2-finger horizontal swipe to go to next/previous chapter in a Bible or reading in a devotional. o Added 2-finger vertical swipe to rotate through open books in the active pane. o Added a "gesture demo" animation. o Ability to display interlinear Bibles. o Ability to search notes on iPhone o Can now see a list of categories in which a given verse is bookmarked. o Added a "direct keyboard entry" go-to-verse style. o Added ability to link to document fragments in notes. o Added press-and-hold link previews for most types of links in the note viewer. o Ability to delete your account from within the app. ENHANCEMENTS o Present the table of contents for non-Bibles on iPhone differently so that it syncs to your current position right away. o Present search results on iPhone differently so that you don't see the previous search form before seeing results. o Integrated the Note List, Note Editor, and Note Text Editor into one dialog on iPhone. o Improved text contrast, especially on dark backgrounds, throughout the app. o Choosing a range of verses for searching requires fewer button presses. o Swipe down to dismiss full-screen dialogs on iPhone. o Added haptic feedback for "Copy" on the selection toolbar. o Allow selection of different color schemes for light and dark modes. o Added an option to hide "Note" links at the start of a verse. o Improved VoiceOver support. o Made sure autocorrect was off in all search fields to better accommodate unusual words used in the Bible. o Improved contrast for words of Christ, word attribute links, and normal text when shown on highlight colors. o Added a way to set options from copy passage dialog. o Option to sort Bible book names alphabetically in go-to dialogs. o Calculator goto comes up with current verse entered. o Prompt user when books have been updated. o Improved book/chapter/verse "grid" go-to dialog. o TOC navigation goes to current section when first launched. o Rename "manage my data" to Manage Cloud Sync and move it to the User Data section o Added sample text to the font chooser o One new dark and one new light color scheme; changed the way color schemes are presented o Restyled the in-app purchase store. o "Welcome" (Home screen), "Help", and "Advanced User Guide" are automatically re-installed if accidentally deleted. o Adjust toolbox size when using a hardware keyboard attached to an iPad. o Accept more types of links pasted into notes from PocketBible books. o Changed "Change Login ID or Password" to "Account Login" on the menu to better reflect what this function does. BUG FIXES o Certain characters were not working in passwords. o Fixed links in notes that contained spaces. o Improved contrast in alerts for all color schemes. o Fixed truncated values in the "spinner" go-to-verse style. o The "spinner" style go-to-verse dialog wasn't being displayed the first time it was invoked. o Selecting a recent search caused the search to be performed but the results were immediately dismissed. o Login/Create Account screens now have dark background when dark color scheme is active. o Fixed a layout problem on the Cloud Library screen o Fixed unreadable status line at the bottom of library lists in some color schemes. o Addressed an issue that could cause an error or crash when deleting a note. |
